Pro Catching Strategy

During the hunt, fish the middle of the Coral Bastion pool (magenta on the Fish Radar) with Deep Coral. Its -99% reeling penalty is locked. It can rampage: a 9% chance per fish movement, dropping 0.9% after each one down to 4.5%. A rampage takes 55% of your progress and cuts your Control bar by 15% for 4 seconds, then waits 8 seconds.

Spawn Mechanics

Fishing in the Coral Bastion builds Disturbance; at 10,000 risk a Reef Titan Hunt starts, and 10% of those are Colossus Reef Titan Hunts instead. The Coral Rod (+2) and Coral Spear (+7) add Hunt Focus toward the Reef Titan Hunt. A hunt lasts 10 minutes, or until the fish is caught. The Tidefall Resurgence admin event also gives a 1% chance.
