Spawn Mechanics

A Toxic Boil has a 20% chance to appear every 30 seconds and lasts 60 seconds, and several can be up at once. A Prototype Noxious Catalyst or a Noxious Catalyst makes one that lasts 10 minutes; the Noxious Catalyst one also gives +25% Progress Speed. Toxic Boils are the only time the Venom Maw and the Mycotide Serpent can be caught.
