Ominous Anomalocaris
MythicalThe rarest fish in the entire game. I've only caught 1 in 200 hours. Requires specific moon phase and clear weather at The Depths.
Bone Serpent
MythicalOnly spawns during night time in the deepest pools of Skeleton Caverns. Caught 3 in my playtime.
Glacial Leviathan
MythicalOnly during blizzard weather at Frost Peak. The blizzard is rare itself - maybe 5% of the time.
Void Stalker
MythicalRequires Void Portal access (quest reward). More consistent than top 3 but still took me 20 hours to get.
Neptune's Trident
MythicalThe "farmable" rare fish. I catch 2-3 per hour at Atlantis throne room with 400% Luck.

After catching 100+ rare fish, here's what I've learned:
Luck is everything. 300% minimum for Exotic, 400%+ for Mythical. Use our Best Rods Guide to maximize Luck.
Check weather conditions. Many rare fish only spawn during specific weather. Storm Whale needs storms, Glacial Leviathan needs blizzards.
Time of day matters. Some rare fish only spawn at night (Bone Serpent) or dawn/dusk.
Use Luck Potions. Luck Potion III adds +50% Luck. Stack with your rod for maximum effect.
