Aether has no rod, bait or enchantment. Any catch has a 0.004% chance of it, about 1 in 25,000. The Him companion also gave it, but Him came from a code that has expired.
Aether multiplies a fish's sell value by 15x: a fish worth 1,000 C$ sells for 15,000 C$ with it. That is the highest multiplier of the 357 mutations in Fisch.
