Pro Catching Strategy

With all 10 Sky Crystals placed in Abaia's Chamber, wait for a Raging Squall (or use a Raging Squall Totem), then sacrifice fish to the Fire of Spirits. Next, catch the 4 Crest Barriers spread across 4 fishing spots around Skycrest (one of them is in the chamber); only then can the Ancestral Abaia be caught. The hunt lasts 10 minutes. Fish at night with Gombak Bent-Winged Firefly bait.

Spawn Mechanics

A Raging Squall can replace a Tropical Squall or come from a Raging Squall Totem. While it lasts, feeding the Fire of Spirits starts an Ancestral Abaia Hunt instead of the normal Abaia Hunt. As in the normal hunt, 4 Crest Barriers spread across 4 fishing spots on the island, the chamber included, must be caught first. The hunt lasts 10 minutes, or ends once someone catches the fish, and only one can run at a time. Sundial Totems cannot start it.
