How to Get to Skycrest

Skycrest floats in the sky between Moosewood and Tidefall. Swim up the waterfalls to climb to it. Its GPS position is about 2900, 1620, 900.

What the Fisch 2.0 Update Added

Version 2.0 went live on September 5, 2026. Skycrest is a permanent island; only some of its launch content was limited.

• Skycrest, a new island with 30 fish in its Bestiary.
• Charms and Idol Favor, two new systems tied to the island's Ancient Idols.
• Abaia hunts in Abaia's Chamber: the Abaia Hunt, the Ancestral Abaia Hunt and the limited Fruity Abaia Hunt (now removed).
• Wish of the Sky, a one-time wish for an older limited quest rod (now ended, see below), plus a new companion and balance changes.

Idol Level (Idol Favor)

Skycrest has its own level, the Idol Level, which goes up to 100. A higher Idol Level unlocks more charm slots, and most Sky Crystals need a minimum Idol Level. You raise it by earning Idol Favor in four ways:

• Catching fireflies around the island: Firefly +2, Loopy Five Firefly +12, Blue Ghost Firefly +25 and Gombak Bent-Winged Firefly +60 Idol Favor. Each catch also gives you that firefly as bait.
• Catching fish on Skycrest: each fish gives a share of its normal XP as Idol Favor (the wiki has not confirmed the exact formula yet).
• Idol quests: quest rewards include Idol Favor.
• Idol Taiga companion: +5% Idol Favor, rising to +25% at max level.

Squall Weather

Squalls are Skycrest's own weather. Many Idol quests need one, and you need one to spawn the Abaia.

Charms

Charms are accessories that boost one stat each. Seven Ancient Idols around the island have 15 quests each. Every Idol quest you finish raises that Idol's charm's max level by 1, and you equip charms through the Crest Amulet, which the Keeper of the Sky's questline gives you.

Kaito's Weekly Shop

Elder Kaito runs a shop in the island's village. It shows 5 items with limited stock and changes every Friday at 17:00 UTC. Possible items include the Artisan Rod (80,000 C$), hunt totems for the Megalodon, Kraken, Scylla or Colossal Dragon (80,000 C$), the Aurora Totem (150,000 C$) and the Tropical Squall Totem (800,000 C$).

Skycrest Rods

The 5 rods added with the Skycrest update, from our rod data synced with the Fisch Wiki. Four come from Skycrest itself. Abaia's Spite is crafted at the Ancient Archives, not on Skycrest: it needs level 850, 750,000 C$, a Line of the Skies, a Squalled Abaia, an Ancestral Abaia and a Petrified Empyrean Relic.

Wish of the Sky (the Skycrest Wish)

Update 2.0 let every account make one wish at Ryusei, who stands on a mountain top next to a broken windmill on Skycrest (GPS about 3208, 1705, 573). You picked one of 20 older limited rods that used to come from quests, and its quest giver (or a Wish Echo next to Ryusei) appeared so you could earn it. With nothing left to wish for, Ryusei gave a Siren's Tear instead.

The Fisch Wiki now lists the wish as a limited feature that has ended. Ryusei still hands out a repeatable daily trial at one of the Ancient Idols; finish it 14 days in a row for a Siren's Tear. His first quest unlocks once you finish any Ancient Idol's 5th trial.

All 30 Skycrest Fish

Sorted by average NPC sell value, catchable fish first. The last 10, the island's Limited fish including the Fruity Abaia, can no longer be caught: the Fisch Wiki lists them as unobtainable in the current version (checked October 9, 2026). Completing the Skycrest Bestiary gives the Sky Crystal bobber, 50,000 C$ and 50,000 XP.
